2016 Official St. Paul Ballet Give to the Max Day Sweepstakes Rules

NO CONTRIBUTION OR PURCHASE IS NECESSARY — MAKING A CONTRIBUTION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING THIS SWEEPSTAKES

HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES: No contribution or purchase is necessary. Enter between the times 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on November 17, 2016 for this Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries, if discovered, will be disqualified.
Eligible persons may enter the Sweepstakes in the following ways:

1. By making a donation of any amount to St. Paul Ballet by visiting St. Paul Ballet’s Give MN organizational page at https://www.givemn.org/organization/saint-paul-ballet between the times 12 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on November 17, 2016. Participants must provide an email address or phone number to be eligible for receiving a prize.
2. By completing a paper entry form, available at St. Paul Ballet’s office, located at 655 Fairview Ave. N., St. Paul, MN 55104. Participants must provide an email address or phone number to be eligible for receiving a prize.
3. By submitting an entry via email to spb@spballet.org. Email must contain the phrase “Enter me in the 2016 St. Paul Ballet Give to the Max Day Sweepstakes.”

ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal residents of Minnesota who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. THIS GIVEAWAY IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN MINNESOTA ONLY. DO NOT ENTER THIS SWEEPSTAKES UNLESS YOU ARE LOCATED IN MINNESOTA AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. DO NOT ENTER THIS GIVEAWAY UNLESS YOU ARE A LEGAL RESIDENT OF MINNESOTA AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

The following persons are not eligible for the Sweepstakes:

  • Persons are employees or members of the board of St. Paul Ballet.
  • Persons who were employees or members of the board of St. Paul Ballet at any time during the eight (8) months prior to the start of the Sweepstakes (“Former Employees”).
  • Immediate family, and persons living in the same household as the Employee or Former Employee, and
  • Other persons described in the entry instructions for this Sweepstakes.

Void where prohibited by law.

PRIZE: Prize description and Prize retail value as described below:

  • 1 St. Paul Ballet T-shirt (approximate value: $20)
  • 1 St. Paul Ballet Track Jacket (approximate value: $40)
  • 1 St. Paul Ballet Mug (approximate value: $15)
  • A backstage tour before a show and the opportunity for you and your guests to meet Artistic Director, Zoé Henrot (approximate value: No retail value)
  • An onstage photo with cast members of Clara’s Dream (approximate value: $50)
  • A private viewing of a closed dress rehearsal and meet-and-greet Artistic Director Zoé Henrot (approximate value: $40)
  • A 1-hour private fundamental ballet lesson (adult or child) (approximate value: $75)
  • A pair of tickets to Clara’s Dream (approximate value: $64)
  • A walk-on role as a party guest in one of the Clara’s Dream performances and 4 tickets for your fans (approximate value: $128)

Winner is responsible for any costs associated with using the prize, including but not limited to transportation and parking (if any). Prize is nontransferable, is not good for cash, and cannot be exchanged for other merchandise. Winner will receive delivery of the prize as arranged by St. Paul Ballet. Tickets and gift certificates must be used in compliance with venue’s policies.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF POTENTIAL WINNERS: Every eligible entry will be included in the drawing. St. Paul Ballet will randomly draw names of the potential winners and back up names from all eligible entries on November 18, 2016. Winner(s) will be notified by e-mail or phone.

If St. Paul Ballet is unable to reach a winner or a winner is unable to accept the prize before November 29, 2016, then that unawarded prize will go to the first available back up, as defined by the rules for eligibility and selection of winners on file at St. Paul Ballet’s offices, thereof until the prize is awarded. These rules detailing giveaway eligibility and method of selecting winners are on file at St. Paul Ballet’s offices. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries.

GENERAL: By participating in Sweepstakes, each participant agrees to be bound by the Official Rules, and to release and hold harmless the St. Paul Ballet, and its agents, representatives and employees, and to indemnify them against any all claims, demands, and actions for losses and damages arising from injury to person and property caused by their negligence, active or passive, or by the condition of the premises of the St. Paul Ballet, or by any product awarded as a prize. St. Paul Ballet may use winner’s name and likeness for advertising, fundraising, promotional or publicity purposes without further compensation. Expenses as a result of winning this prize, including taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Potential winners who participate in a walk-on role in a St. Paul Ballet performance do so with the knowledge that they will be engaging in physical activities that carry risks of minor or major bodily injuries, and, as a condition of such participation, potential winners will be required to sign a waiver providing that, knowing of the risks involved, they consent to such participation and agree to release the St. Paul Ballet and its agents, representatives, and employees from any damages, losses, and actions arising out of such injuries, including, but not limited to, medical and related expenses, and monetary losses resulting from impairment of the capacity to carry on gainful employment, to the extent that any such injuries are caused or contributed to by the active or passive negligence of the St. Paul Ballet, its agents, representatives or employees, or the condition of the premises at which the performance-related activities are held.

RESTRICTIONS: By participating in St. Paul Ballet’s Sweepstakes, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of the sweepstakes sponsor.
