Parent and Me Ages 2.5 – 4
Enjoy and explore the fundamentals of movement, music and rhythm in this developmentally appropriate class. Young dancers and grown up dancers will practice the first steps of a dance class.

Your dancer will have fun exploring music and movement concepts, developing dance skills, strengthening the body and brain.

Preschool Dance Fundamentals Ages 4-5
June 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27 (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

This class emphasizes movement and musicality. The young dancer will have fun with skills learned through rhyme and rhythm and dance patterns over the session.
Ballet Fairytales Camp Ages 4-6
June 17-20 (Monday – Thursday)
9:30 to 11:30am $90

You are invited to enter in the wonderful world of ballet and fairy tales such as Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Each day of camp will include an age appropriate dance class, musicality and instrument work, storytelling, games, and lots of creating. We will have an informal showing of our work on the last day of camp. Please wear your favorite dance clothes and dance shoe wear-bare feet is a great option if your dancer chooses. Bring a labeled water bottle.
Mary Poppins Dance Camp Ages 4-6
August 12-15 (Monday – Thursday)
9:30 to 11:30am $90

Have fun exploring, dancing, and experiencing the story of Mary Poppins. Dance Camp will include an age-appropriate, dance-concept/ ballet class each day with many fun activities! Your dancer will engage with the music from this infamous musical and explore the differing characters with choreography. The dancers will share excerpts of their work in an informal showing for family and friends on the last day of class. Attendees should bring a labeled water bottle. Clothing: Girls should wear dance clothes (leotards, footless tights, dance skirts, leggings, bare feet or ballet shoes. Boys should wear sweat pants/shorts, t-shirts, bare feet or ballet shoes.
Nutcracker Story Camp Ages 4-6
August 19-22 (Monday – Thursday)
9:30 to 11:30 am $90

The Nutcracker Ballet story will be used as a springboard for creating a miniature summer Nutcracker ballet! Dance skills, creating age-appropriate choreography, props, costumes, and imagination. Culminates in an informal in-studio performance on the last day. Dance attire and bare feet or dance shoes recommended.
Dance Expressions Drop-in Ages 4-6  This creative movement class will allow students to explore their imaginations by moving their bodies through space. Three or four concepts from the progressive curriculum of the Children’s semester program will be repeated in this introductory class. The class is designed for families to come and go according to their schedules. This class continues into the school year.

What to wear:
Comfortable clothes, not baggy, bare feet. Dancers may wear leotards and tights and ballet slippers if desired.
OR may wear biker-type shorts and t-shirt if desired. Hair pulled neatly away from face and neck.

Dancers gain strength, flexibility, self-confidence and are encouraged to create in collaboration with others over the session.
Breathe Like a Puppy Children’s Yoga Ages 6-10

This yoga class is a great introduction to the ancient practice of the body, mind, and breath. We will to the learn many basic poses and try some yoga sequencing and salutations. We will breathe, strengthen, stretch, and practice stillness. Wear comfortable clothes, bring a yoga mat if you have one and be prepared for fun!

August 5-8 (Monday-Thursday)
1:30-3:30pm $90

Dance, Art and Yoga Camp invites children to explore engaging concepts through many artistic experiences like music exercises, movement stories, creative dance experiences and yoga postures. This fun-filled camp includes hands-on art activities which directly connect to the movement concept explored during a creative dance class or yoga class warm up.  Traditional poses and fun games will lead us to embody stories, sequences, and play in new ways.  Please send labeled water bottle and a small snack with your camper. Your child will share their creativity with family and friends in an informal presentation on the last day of camp.  Stretchy, moveable clothing and bare feet.

AGES 8-12 and High School



Intro to Modern/Contemporary Ages 12-19

Come engage and create a dance community by celebrating American modern technique. By exploring the introductory concepts of Cunningham, Graham and Horton, dancers will  learn the importance of energy, time, space and levels in movement. You are invited to create joy in movement!

Teaching artist: Rahila Coats is an active dancer and choreographer in the Twin Cities. She has studied dance across the globe at Gustavus Adolphus College, University of Ghana and Hebrew University’s Dance Jerusalem. She is finishing her final year at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities where she will receive her BFA in Dance.
