Join us Saturday August 24th 11:30am to 1:30pm to register for classes and get a peek at our new studios in progress of completion for fall!
Please come to the temporary lobby of St. Paul Ballet on the second floor above our new space.
The time is here for the big move. We are excited about our build out to better serve our current and growing population of dancers!
We need 20 volunteers on Saturday, August 24 between 9 am – 1 pm to help us move sub-flooring to each new studio. We encourage you to be part of the team to make the studio move successful! As a 501(c)(3), we cannot accomplish our mission without the support of people like you. Sign up here for your two-hour time slot.
Only two hours of your time will make a huge impact. For this exciting volunteer opportunity, closed toe shoes are required, and long, durable pants are recommended. Some of the work will require cordless drills, with a couple of #2 Phillips bits, so please bring yours from home with batteries charged and an extra battery. If you have a ‘nail pouch’ for your waist to hold the screws, it would be best to bring that too.
Want to help but can’t on August 24? We also need several more volunteers on August 26, 27, 28 from 6-8 pm each evening. Floors will be laid these days. The work will require require cordless drills, with a couple of #2 Phillips bits, so, as above, bring yours from home with batteries charged and an extra battery. If you have a ‘nail pouch’ for your waist to hold the screws, it would be best to bring that too.
To make an impact, sign up for your two-hour volunteer time slot here.
Youth as young as age 13 may volunteer, with guardian! Sign up your kids, family, and friends, and earn volunteer hours needed for school, scouts, or other community-serving organizations.
Can’t volunteer but want to help? Donate here today. Current donations will help support new barres and mirrors for the studio spaces.
We hope to see you for this unique volunteer opportunity. You can be part of SPB’s mission. Support reducing barriers to classical ballet in the Twin Cities and providing scholarships for exceptional ballet training. As an anchor partner of CO-MOTION Center for Movement, we look forward to not only our new SPB studios, but what’s in store for the near future with our neighboring, like-minded community partners in movement!
