We would like to congratulate our School of St. Paul Ballet Alumni in their accomplishments since graduating from SPB!

Ekaterina Hofrenning recently danced at the National College Dance Festival with the Macalester dance department. Held in in June 2018 in Washington D.C., Ekaterina danced “Just her Time” choreographed by Wynn Fricke. The American College Dance Association invited 30 colleges to present works at the Kennedy Center.

Out of the 30 colleges at the ACDA Festival, Macalester’s Just Her Time and 4 others were selected to perform at Jacob’s Pillow. Ekaterina will be performing in Jacob’s Pillow’s Inside/Out Series in August.

Amanda Meuer is dancing with Magnum Opus, a ballet company based in Madison, WI.  She has spent the year dancing various repertoire varying from highly classical to Graham style modern to contemporary ballet!  She will be returning to Madison next year to dance with Magnum Opus as a company artist.

Sophie Rossmiller has been pursuing a dance and exercise science dual-major at Hope College, MI. She has had the opportunity to take classes in a range of styles from hip hop to ballet, tap to improvisation. Sophie performed in the annual faculty dance concert. In the fall, Sophie will be part of StrikeTime Dance Theatre, a student dance company which makes dance accessible to the West Michigan community.
