The Nutcracker Reimagined

St. Paul Ballet is thrilled to announce that our beloved Nutcracker: REIMAGINED is returning for 2024! This production features our incredible Youth Company alongside CAAM Chinese Dance Theatre, Ethnic Dance Theatre, and more!

The Nutcracker Reimagined, brimming with holiday magic and seasonal brilliance, is a treasure crafted by St. Paul Ballet. The enchanting journey begins with a Christmas Eve party where Uncle Drosselmeyer, a gifted toymaker, captivates everyone with lifesized dolls and unveils a one-of-a-kind Nutcracker.

As the party ends, the magic is just beginning. For just one night, we travel through the Nutcracker’s world where Snowflakes dance, a Sugar Plum Fairy reigns over a Kingdom of Sweets, and fantastical residents from around the world entertain us before dancing flowers swirl and leap to wake us from our dream.

St. Paul Ballet’s Youth Company is a training program for ages 8-18 that focuses on the creative, social, personal, and technical skills needed by today’s ballet professionals. They share the stage with CAAM and EDT to wow audiences, inspire youth, and introduce a little more beauty into the world.
This event is perfect for:
  • Families with wiggly, excited, creative children!
  • Wiggly, excited, creative, adults!
  • Easing stress and increasing joy!
  • Elderly folks who want to feel inspired by the youth of today (our future artists!)
  • A good, moving, thrilling, adorable, impressive 90 mins on the town!
Make use of our Pay-As-Able ticketing to gather family, friends and relatives to experience a performance that will create treasured memories for years to come. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this!

St. Paul Ballet students of all ages will perform a mix of classic and brand-new choreography created and directed by Christina Onusko and SPB faculty Helen Hatch, Anthony Jones, Kaylie Bullock and Alejandra Iannone. If you’ve attended our past productions of The Nutcracker, you know to expect a multi-cultural, multi-genre take on the masterpiece.

Keep connected via social media and our mailing list to stay in the loop.

Make time for joy this season!
