Beginning Ballet 2/Level 1: Introductory ballet technique according to a Vaganova-based curriculum, with a focus on developing movement vocabulary. In addition to technique, classes include repertory which allows time to create and rehearse choreography.
Level 2: Continuation of ballet technique according to a Vaganova-based curriculum, with a focus on increased strength, stamina, flexibility, and coordination.
Live piano accompaniment in all levels by accomplished local musicians. This is a critical component in the development of mastery of ballet technique and artistry. SPB is grateful to be able to offer this to all students.
