PROGRAM TO BE ANNOUNCED IN MARCH!
Sample of last year's program:
In Full Bloom!
Annual Spring Showcase
In Full Bloom! is a radiant celebration of the artistry, resilience, and passion of St. Paul Ballet’s student dancers—an uplifting experience we all need right now. This annual showcase blends beloved classical works with vibrant new choreography created especially for these dancers, offering a dynamic and emotional journey for performers and audiences alike.
This year’s program features new original work from Helen Hatch and guided improvisation directed by Blake Nellis, alongside choreography by Alejandra Iannone, Aloe Lui, Dexter Carlson, Christina Onusko, and Anna Pinault. Guest performers from CAAM Chinese Dance Theater enrich the program. Modern works will be accompanied live by SPB musicians Joe Strachan, Amelie Banks, and Ian Witry, blending movement and music seamlessly.
Highlights include Kinetic Canvas, where our youngest dancers bring paintings to life through movement, and Le Jardin Animé (Animated Garden), the dream sequence from Le Corsaire, where nature blossoms into wonder and enchantment.
From the first graceful steps of beginning students to the confident presence of advanced pre-professional dancers, In Full Bloom! showcases the extraordinary talent blossoming within the School of St. Paul Ballet.
Audiences are invited to experience the powerful emotions and joyous spirit of live performance, feeling every note and movement alongside the dancers. More than a showcase, In Full Bloom! is a hopeful, heart-lifting reminder of the creativity and light young artists bring to the world—and a celebration of you, the community that lifts and inspires them.
St. Paul Ballet offers PAY WHAT YOU CAN pricing. We ask everyone to pay what they believe the value of this performance is according to their current financial circumstances.
Some audience members are able to pay the suggested fair market value for tickets (suggested adult ticket $35) and even pay it forward by paying over the suggested price ($40 or $50).
Some audience members have a smaller budget but would like to bring their families, friends and children (minimum ticket price $5 and no fees are added if purchased at the box office). We wholeheartedly encourage this. All are welcome at our performances.
